DIY Egg Shaped Easter String Basket

Easter is around the corner! You might have already made some Easter decorations for your home. I am excited to feature a creative way to make an egg shaped Easter string basket. This super cute idea is from Martta’s blog, HMH Designs. Her secret to making this cute Easter basket is to use a balloon and string. First twine the string around the balloon and then poke the balloon. The string was previously saturated with fabric stiffener. Also make sure you twine the string tightly so that when the balloon pops, the string maintains an egg shape. Then you can decorate the string basket with bows, ribbons and any other ornaments you like. It’s such a great Easter home decor. You can hang it over the ceiling or on the wall, and stuff it with your kids’ favorite candies and small toys. Let’s get crafting!
